Product No: HME080
Product: Telecommuting
Sometimes
referred to as 'Work-At-Home', Telecommuting allows
companies to have employees work in places other than
the main company office. Work can be done via the
telephone, e-mail, websites or more commonly a
combination of the three.
This
is an advantage to the employee (you) and to the
company. You work your own hours in the
convenience of your home. The company
"contracts" with you; therefore pays no
payroll taxes, unemployment benefits, and incurs no
expense for office space and equipment.
The biggest difference
between real telecommuting positions and scams is this:
true telecommuter employers never charge fees.
Telecommuters will never be asked to pay application
fees, administrative fees, materials fees, resources
fees or any other fees. These "fees" are
what funds the multi-level marketing type scams posing
as true jobs.
Responsibilities: A typical session would begin by you opening your
browser to the company's URL. Then enter your ID
and pass code. The system will then see you as active
and begin sending you calls. When the phone rings,
you simply follow the script as presented on the
Internet! It's that easy!
There are of course a wide variety of calls
coming in and you will be directed to different scripts
depending on answers you receive from your callers.
The script will guide you through the whole process.
The central computer tells your computer what
"type" of offer they are calling in on.
Just follow the screens.
Experience/Skills: You must be able to speak on the phone while entering
real-time data on the company website.
Location: All work is done in
your home at your convenience day or night.
Income : Instead
of a flat hourly wage, you are paid by the 'talk
minute'. The biggest benefit of this system is
that you may work for as little as five minutes, earn
the compensation for that five minutes, and then stop
working. I
Supplies: To participate you will need the following:
PC with Internet Connectivity
High Speed Internet Connection
Internet Explorer 5.0 or Newer
200 MHz Processor or Better (Pentium preferred)
500 MB Hard Drive (standard for caching web pages)
64 MB RAM
A simple residential phone line free of any features
such as call waiting or voice mail.
The ability to speak clearly, enthusiastically and
operate from a script.
It
is recommended that the work space be free from outside
interruptions or at the very least can be made
interruption-free when necessary. Some
work from a living room, den, home office or even from a
bedroom. As long as the space has the necessary
equipment the exact location doesn't matter.
Startup Cost: NONE
The Company:
You are an Independent Contractor and responsible for
your own taxes. Companies do not take funds out
of paychecks for state taxes, local taxes, federal taxes
or social security. A form is sent by the
company at the end of the year indicating the total
amount you earned for the year.
