How I Became a PowerSeller
In January 2001 I started my online store. I spent hours upon hours, days upon days, trying to get customers to my website. First I tried listing my site on all of the "free" sites, then I spent hundreds of dollars advertising, but my sales were so low, I barely paid my web-hosting fees.

My serious buying on eBay started in April 2002, and I envied sellers who could stay home and make a living. "Hey," I thought, "I can do this, too." So I started listing on eBay in July 2002 but made only $5,000 for the entire year.

I ordered a book from a bronze powerseller and took what he said to heart. In July 2003, my monthly income was up to $1,300. While the book was a real boost for me, I found most on the information in the book was outdated, and I needed to be creative on my own.

I tried many different ideas and by June 2004, my monthly income finally reached $3,000. And it's increasing every month... I still sell on my website, but eBay sales are almost 90% of my income.
