Boy and Dog Hand Fan

This type of fan was used by church members to keep cool during church services, a Southern and Midwestern tradition. The original of this fan was found in a United Methodist Church basement in the Midwest and dates from around 1940. The original fan had advertising on the back from the Courtney Furniture & Undertaking Company! However, this miniature has a mirror image of the front on the back. The original was 15" high and 7" across. The miniature is 1/12th that size and is made of a double thickness of cardstock from which the fan is cut.

Income : $75.00 for 1 Units (100 items)  = 75 cents each.  Company reimburses all postage for return of projects up to $4 per unit.
No Maximum limit.  There is a 2-month time limit to complete and send in the completed kit to be sure that we still need the item you are making.

Supplies:  All furnished by the company excepting a stapler which you must furnish.

Startup Cost: $55.00 deposit.  Refunded in full when you quit working for company.
Kit includes Complete, detailed assembly instructions; complete, detailed assembly instructions, a correctly assembled sample of the miniature item, a payment request form, extra materials to cover for any mistakes, an additional materials request form, disposable knife for cutting out the parts, a small bottle of Elmer's glue (for items that are glued), and plastic bags to put each of the completed items in, sheets of printed miniature Church Hand Fans.

REFUNDS:  You will receive a full refund of your deposit when you stop working for the company after completing at least one unit.   If you decide you do not wish to make these products you may return what you have not used of the kit and you will be mailed a refund of 1/2 of your deposit, deducting 1/2 for restocking, packing, and clerical expenses. The refund is the same if you use all the materials or return the kit in untouched condition. You might just as well give it a try.  If you wish to take advantage of this refund offer, simply mail the package back to us within the first sixty (60) days, write "1/2" on the outside of the package, and be sure that your name and address are enclosed. This must be done within the first 60 days.

The Company:  Does not withhold taxes or pay any unemployment benefits of any kind.
